Subject: Re: PINBALL 4000: Memory Problems in DOS

: I have been trying to run Expert's Pinball 4000 in DOS. I get prompts that it cannot run music due to the lack of conventional memory. But it doesn't take me to where I need to go to make the necessary changes, (the appropriate prompts, etc).

: I recently shuffled some conventional memory for playing Epic Pinball and I thought it would take care of the problem, but evidently not. Is there a way of sharing the memory so I can run my DOS pinballs without effecting those pinballs that I run in windows?

: PLEASE, if you know the answer, be gentle, I am not technically inclined.

: Thanks a bunch,

Rick, right-click on the PB4000 program,
select properties and you can set the
memory etc. from there. It will only
affect the PB4000 program and nothing
else. Also, I would recommend doing the
same with your other DOS programs that
you are running in WIn95/98. It is not
a good thing to add a lot of DOS
commands to your autoexec and
config.sys files. It can negatively
affect WIn95/98 performance.

Good luck!
