: Max do you know if the web installs and works properly in Windows 98? I have heard nightmares about the game installing direct x 2 and overwriting sound drivers with no warning at all, and some have said it runs extremely fast (the ball). I tried to install it in Win98 when I got FJ with Web. I had it before, but the game wasn't installed anymore. So I installed it from the new CD under Win98. And I remember that the game ran very fast!!! Then I uninstalled it! From this point on I wasn't able to start the installtion-program under Win98 anymore?!?!?!? So here is how I got Web running now: I installed the DOS-version, and then I copied the Windows-Executables from the CD into the Web-directory. Then I was able to start it from Windows with user-configured keyboard-setup (which is very important for me :-) And with this procedure I got TW running without problems under Win98!!! I don't remember exactly if Direct X 2 was installed automatically, may be possible.
