Those of you who have ordered FJ on-line, what is the turn-around time to get the game? I noticed that Amazon.com and Siberian Outpost were mentioned. Here in the States, I live in Indianapolis, which is the 10th largest city in the States, we have all of the computer software superstores like Comp USA, Circuit City, Best Buy and Electronics Boutique. None of them have FJ as of today and I HAVE been checking. Yet, two weeks ago someone posted to the messageboard that they got FJ at some store in the town of Appleton which is in northern Wisconsin. The computer superstores have virtually removed all pinball software from their shelves in this large city with the exception of the Pinball Madness package and sometimes I see MS Arcade. I think the trend will be that we are going to have to purchase pinball simulations on-line here in the states until a real spectacular pinball sim comes out with a lot of appeal like a Beatles, James Bond, Sport or Hollywood theme. In any event, I have learned a lesson that I will never wait for the U.S. in store distribution of Pro Pinball, but rather will take my chances and order on-line. I have ordered two sims on line with great results: Royal Flush (via Sam) and Devil's Island, which got to me in three or four days and in time for the holidays. Best regards to all fellow Pinheads!
