Subject: Overseas version is better!

Hi GT. I've been to Australia before (Sydney and Darwin) and a lot of electronics and software is expensive over there. Sorry man.

To answer Razorneck's question, the U.S. version does come in a nice box. But I didn't get a manual. Just a jewel case, CD, and a crappy "reference card". The .pdf file on the CD that contains the manual is the exact size that GT mentions. Interplay distributes the U.S. version (just like my version of Big Race USA). However, my boxed version of TimeShock! was not distributed through Interplay- it was distributed through Empire (hence the better quality box and cool color manuals).

GT, is the manual for Fantastic Journey in color? Just wondering. I've been to many countries (I used to be in the U.S. Navy), and I've noticed that boxing/packaging of products has more attention to detail (full color manuals, nice packaging; like many Japanese stuff) than stuff sold here in the U.S.
Take it easy!

Marcel

: I live in Australia and sadly we pay big time for our games. Here FJ is sold in an attractive box along with a 39 page manual. It isn't a large manual, about the size of a CD squared up if you know what I mean. Here's the kicker though, the price here for FJ is $69.95!! Our dollar is only worth 62 cents US so I guess the accounts for some of the disparity. You folk in the US are so fortunate software is so cheap.
: I agree with Marcel that FJ is tough going scoring wise. Having said that I note some big scores on the hi-score page. I guess there are the pinball wizards and then there are the rest of us. I still keep trying though.
