Subject: Fantastic Journey wins award in Computer Gaming World
Here in the U.S., Computer Gaming World is the most "prestigious" of the gaming magazines, being around for at least the past 15 years. Anyways, I just read their annual gaming awards issue, and Pro Pinball: Fantastic Journey won the puzzle/misc category. Well deserved in my opinion. I've been playing FJ for well over a week now, and it really has grown on me. It's a very deep table with much to master. Very cool. It's funny Razorneck, because I showed this magazine to some folks over at Electronic's Boutique, Babbages, and the like and they never planned on selling this particular title due to low interest in previous Pro Pinball titles. I just can't believe that. There isn't any other series that puts so much attention to detail and quality in a game. And although the more recent titles (namely Big Race USA and Fantastic Journey) do not have fancy documentation, a real pin only has the directions on the glass panel itself (which Pro Pinball games do have). That's all you need- it makes the game that much more challenging and fun to discover. I agree with Cary- just go to Amazon.com and buy the game online! Then let me know your thoughts on the game. Marcel : Has anyone seen this game in any stores? It is not on Comp USA,EB or Babbages lists and they have not even heard of it. It seems that Interplay could care less if the game ever gets out. Get on their ass Empire and get this game out to the public.
: I would appreciate if anyone has any info.
