Ariel and her new daughter, Melody, flip under the sea in this rumble-enhanced game.

The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, Pinball Frenzy will feature two big boards and 16 minigames. Realistic physics, enhanced by Game Pak's rumble feature, will impress pinball vets, while the dozens of authentic touches (including music inspired by the Academy Award-winning Little Mermaid score) will win over Ariel's legions of fans.

Ariel's board is based on the original Little Mermaid movie, while the second board is dedicated to Melody, Ariel's daughter and the star of Little Mermaid II. Pals Sebastian and Flounder appear on both boards, while Ursula glowers over a shipwreck on Ariel's board and brand-new baddie Morgana besmirches Melody's board. Eric, King Triton and other beloved characters from the two movies appear in the game, which even includes video sequences.

As many as four can take turns playing the main game. A choice of two speeds allows even very young players to compete. Battery backup allows you to keep extensive lists of high scores for each board.

Doing well on the two big boards opens up the timed minigames, each of which is based on Little Mermaid or Little Mermaid II character. For example, Ursula's minigame challenges you to bop her flailing tentacles; she will counterattack by flinging thunderbolts at your ball. Smaller boards make for frenetic action, especially if you pick the faster speed.
