Following is an annoucement of the WPCmame Pinball ROM Emulator. It is quite cool and definitively worth checking out! The emulator uses ROM files from real pinballs. The ROM files can usually be obtained from the homepage of the developers of the pinball in question (i.e www.williams.com). The ROM files contain among other things instructions for score counting, dmd animations and similar things, in essence all the rules and dmd display features of the pinball in question... Note that you wont get to play the pinball in question just because you load up its ROM in the emulator, what you will get to do though is fool around with the DMD animations and play some sounds and such, it's neat! ;)
