WildSnake Software has released a new version of WildSnake Pinball: Soccer *****. The new version adds a "golden" ball to the golden ball mode and makes some slight changes in the scoring system, a score is awarded directly for each goal scored instead of as a bonus at the end of each round. The new version can be downloaded from their site, there's also a patch for upgrading to the new version.

For unregistered users the new version includes support for submitting scores while in demo mode, if you submit a score you'll be entering into a score contest where the person that has submitted the largest total score (all scores submitted are summed up) wins a free copy of the game.

The contest is ongoing but divided into periods, the first period will end September 1st. After that a new period will start.
