Help on finding your page
Typically, a 404 error is generated as a result of one or more of the following:
Incomplete or “misspelled” URL
Please check to make sure your URL is correct. If it is correct, than chances are the page has been deleted or moved. See below.
Web page has moved
It is possible that the web page you are looking for has moved. In July of 2006, Lander launched a redesigned website where many pages were renamed or moved into different directories. If the page was moved, there are three possibilities:
- The page is still located on the www.lander.edu domain, but has moved or been renamed. Use the search tool located at the top of every page (those with www.lander.edu) to help find the information you are looking for.
- The page has been moved to the webs.lander.edu domain, which contains most of our personal and professional web pages (i.e., faculty and staff) and some organizational pages. Try replacing “www” with “webs” in the URL or go to the search page (http://webs.lander.edu/search.html) on the webs subdomain to look for it there.
- The page is still on the old server, now local.lander.edu. Try replacing “www” with “ local” in the URL to find the old page. Please bear in mind that the local.lander.edu will only be available to the public for limited time only and will eventually be accessible to users on campus.
Web page has been deleted
It is possible that the web page you are trying to find has been deleted, especially if it has not been updated in a long time or is no longer associated with Lander University.
