WildSnake's Second INVASION Original Publishing Date (y/m/d): 2005-03-08
WildSnake has released WildSnake Pinball: INVASION 2, the sequel to their INVASION pinball game. Once again the action takes place inside a space arena shaped like a pinball table. Most neat feature is that enemy aliens form something that works like the ramps and loops of the earthly kind of pinball tables. The flippers can still break and aliens still fire shots at your flippers (hence the breakage, though I only really encountered the breakage frequently when playing in the hard mode). GREAT music (lynne!)! I missed music a lot in the first INVASION, which I never really got into playing. As usual the physics of the pinball is great (realistic would be the word if it wasn't for the fact we're in space playing in a gigantic arena like table, so it's more of a realistic given the situation). All in all I like this pinball game (definitively not to be classed as a simulation even though the ball handling is excellent, I want to stress that!), it's fun and challenging for the time it lasts. |
